The Lamson Adventures!!!!
Elk Meadow Trail, Mueller State Park
Elk Meadow trail, Mueller State Park is one of the trails they let fill with snow so you can snow shoe and cross country ski. The trail is still pretty easy to follow but be carefull of "sinkholes" in the snow. I took a step off the path andscrewed up my knee. Was it worth it? Yes. :-) I believe this trail is only about 2 miles round trip. Bring poles, dress warm and if you have them, wear your yaktraxs.

The cost to get into Mueller is $6 per car, up to 15 people. The non-hiker can just do the small trails around the Ranger Station and buy a T-shirt to let everyone know you were there. LOL! Use your GOOGLE to find the location: Highway 67 South; 3.5 miles South of Divide Divide, CO 80814.
