Jamaican Jerk Rub

1/4 tsp Cinnamon, ground
1 tbsp Onion powder
2 tsp Splenda
2 tsp Thyme, ground
1 tsp Black pepper, coarsely
2 tsp Salt
1 tsp Pimento, ground, (allspice)
1 tsp Cayenne pepper
1/4 tsp Nutmeg, ground
2 tsp Chives, dried or green
Mix together all the ingredients. Store leftovers in a tightly closed
glass jar. It will keep its pungency for over a month.

You can use it on beef, pork, or my personal favorite, chicken. I tried it
on beef last night and chicken tonight. The photo fo the chicken looked
better. :-)

Store the excess in a either a tin or glass, not in plastic of any form.

Do not let the carbs scare you. This made a whole batch. You are going to get tons of chickens, steaks, and lambchops out of this recipe.
