Maple BBQ Sauce (Pictured with beef ribs)

Equipments Large Mixing Bowl; measuring cups; measuring spoons

Ingredients
1/2 cup Ketchup, low carb
1/4 cup Atkins Maple Syrup, (or another brand)
2 tbsp vinegar
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp dry mustard
2 tsp Chili powder, (or less if using flakes)
1/2 tsp Salt and pepper, to taste
Preparation
Add all the ingredients to a bowl. Combine thorougly. The taste taste is needed on this. I really can not give you counts because I do not know the kind of syrup you will use and the pepper is your choice. I personally like it hotter. It was a so rich and left the smallest tingle on your lips. I know the basic recipe is not new to BBQ folks. It is a good base to start other sauces. You can add chopped onions, maybe pepper flakes. I actually do one sauce with a bit of low carb jelly. You would be surprised of the result.

I used this sauce on a boneless beef rib but it would work just as well on chicken, pork, or a roast. Enjoy.
