Equipments Cutting Board; Food Processor; Garlic Press; Knife

Ingredients
1 1/2 cups basil, fresh
1/4 clove Garlic
1/4 cup pine nuts, toasted
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
3 tbsp Olive Oil
1/2 medium Lemon Juice, fresh, juice of 1 lemon
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
Preparation
1. Put the basil and garlic in your food procesor (or pestal and mortar) and pulse together.

2. Add the parmesean cheese. Pulse. Add the lemon and oil a bit a time. This is a taste as you go recipe.

What do you do with it...welllll. There are lots of things. You can have it LC bread, you can mix it with cream cheese for a dip. Spred it on tomatoes and broil. We love it just as a side with our chicken breast. Pesto is so handing and takes just seconds to make.
