Spruce Mt Meadows, Colorado

Spruce Mountain Meadow walks is a hilly 8 mile walk that I really enjoyed. I do wish that the path had headed more west towards the ranges though. The path is pretty decent, a bit narrow so in weather it would be rough. It I found when you were done, it was a good hike to do the Spruce Mountain Lower loop.

The meadows cross over two dirt roads and as you see in the photos, it is just open plains with a few houses speckled on the horizon. A good walk. And I got to try out my new backpack.
