Sundance Loop is located on the South side of Cheyenne Mt State Park. The trail is only 3.2-miles. I found this nicer that the Zoot Loop & Medicine Wheel trails. The Cat Tails are tall and starting to dry. It is October after all. I cannot wait to see these fields in the spring. I think the wild flowers will really be something to see. The view of Cheyenne Mountain from down here is a wide-open view to the West. This was my favorite of the three trails. On the far west side of the loop, the views of the East are fantastic.
Just a note for my friends at work, no dogs or horses allowed. Bummer.
